Taco Carlier (36) founded VANMOOF commuter cycles 5 years ago together with his brother Ties. Headquartered in the biking capital of the world, Amsterdam, the company pursuits only one goal: to help the ambitious city dweller to move around town faster, more confidently and in utmost style. Fuelled by passionate riders, an international design team and an engaged online community, the brand breaks new ground in commuting, worldwide. 

Partnering with global technology leaders including ABUS, Vodafone and Philips, VANMOOF has gained international plaudits for innovative and functional design, among them the EUROBIKE award and a RED DOT design award. 

VANMOOF is rapidly spreading its wings to metro poles around the globe and is currently active in 35 retail markets. Launched in May 2009, VANMOOF is currently sold in Tokyo, Barcelona, Jakarta, Paris, NYC, Milan, Sydney and of course New York.

Their newest project is the VANMOOF Electrified. An E-bike that looks as good as it rides. The bike features a remote control, an integrated dashboard and the GPS tracking chip, controlled by a smart phone app, is another feature worth considering.
